The SOAP FARM STORY
Around the time of the surge of the world wide web, Vanessa, a media professional, began experimenting with natural soap making. She made soap batches at night, after work and on the
weekends. She studied from books and even traveled just to buy soap. In 2001, after a long day at work in the Big Apple she thought about starting a company. Reflecting on her family’s agricultural roots and the city skyline, she dreamt of a soap farm; a place where everyone could buy all natural soap and body products online.
MISSION
To provide exceptional quality, naturally-derived personal cleansing products, sold under the highest degree of integrity possible while made in the United States.
SOAPING WITH A CONSCIENCE
Soap Farm is the only soap company using post consumer magazine paper as their wrap. (The average person discards approximately 17 lbs a year in magazines). In addition, our soap boxes and corrugated cardboard shipping boxes are made from 100% recycled paper. All of our HDPE or PET plastic bottles are 100% recyclable as well. We are constantly looking for creative and sustainable ways to keep our products protected while reducing waste.
IDENTITY
We are looking to innovate, not follow trends while educating consumers about the importance of taking care of the body's largest organ: your skin. Soap Farm makes a conscious effort to prioritize purchasing from American suppliers. We have been sourcing our ingredients for over ten years and never stop challenging the efficacy of those ingredients. Our commitment to 100% customer satisfaction is unwavering. For the end product, the bar is high. (Pun intended).
